Essence Makeup - Logo Redesign and Packaging

Essence Makeup is affordable, fun, and high quality cosmetics line mostly made with tweens in mind. They have products ranging from lipstick, eyeliner, nail polish, mascara, bronzer & more. The list is endless.

My redesign goal was to mature this makeup brand that's aimed towards tweens while still keeping it fun and approachable. Since they offer a full line of cosmetics, I wanted to create a system that allowed many mixtures of colors and shades to accompany any item. Blending is key in makeup so I created gradients and water color patterns to hark back to this idea.
